Attendance

Take attendance for a class

Mark who was present, late or absent at a session, open the QR code from the attendance sheet, spot students who are not in good standing and track your professors' hours.

Attendance is the club’s base data: it feeds statistics, graduation paths, the inactive list and the right to rate a material. Whether your students scan or not, the professor validates.

1. Open the class

From the agenda, click the session. From the To do tab, every attendance to take shows up as an Attendance task: one click opens the sheet directly.

2. Mark attendance

Click the validation icon at the top of the Enrolled students card, or the Mark attendance action.

Each student gets one of four statuses: Pres. (present), Late, Abs. (absent), Exc. abs. (excused absence). The fastest way is All present, then adjust the exceptions. Finish with Save attendance: nothing is written before that.

A student who scanned the QR code is already present in the list. You can correct their status if needed.

3. Who can take attendance

The class professor, their assistants and the owner. A professor who is not assigned to the class does not see the icon: assign them from the class, or take attendance yourself. On a cancelled class, attendance can no longer be changed.

4. The QR code from the attendance sheet

The QR Code button on the attendance sheet opens the right QR code for your mode: this session’s QR code, with its validity duration, or the permanent academy QR code. The professor does not need to remember the setting.

5. Students not in good standing

When a student without an active subscription scans the QR code, they show up in a Not in good standing section of the attendance sheet, with the Not subscribed badge and the time of their scan. You decide whether to let them train, and you know who to talk to.

6. Track your professors’ hours

Every saved attendance sheet counts for the class professor and their assistants. The screen gives, per professor, the number of classes as main professor and as assistant, hours taught and the last class, in total or by month and year. It is the basis for your payroll or expense sheets.

A professor sees their own statistics from their space.
