Leaderboard, fighter profile and physical condition: what your students see

Understand the attendance and competition leaderboard, the fighter profile fed by material ratings and the physical condition declared by the student.

These three screens live on the student side and feed on what you already do: roll call, competition results, rated materials. There is nothing to configure, but it helps to know what they show, and how to hide them if your club prefers discretion.

1. The leaderboard

The Ranking tab offers two modes. Attendance ranks students by number of classes attended, over the month, the year or all time: roll call feeds it. Competitions ranks by score: a fight entered, a win and each medal earn points, and only validated competition results count. The scale is fixed, you do not change it.

Each student can filter by gender, age category, belt and user type (all, managed accounts, regular accounts). The academy’s ongoing contests show in the same place.

2. Hide it if needed

Some clubs do not want students comparing themselves. In My Users, the Hide the student list switch reserves the pages listing members to the owner and co-owners. Students and professors then lose the Ranking tab and the Members list, and students no longer see class rosters or other members’ profiles.

It is a global setting, not a per-student one.

3. The fighter profile

A student’s fighter profile builds itself from their material ratings. A technique they rate as suited to their game and well understood becomes a favourite technique; a suited but poorly understood one goes to needs work. The tag distribution shows the technique families they work on most.

You can open a member’s fighter profile from their profile page, a good starting point before a belt ceremony or a competition prep. The student also fills in their sport profiles there: game style and game plan per sport.

The more materials you attach to your classes, the more faithful this profile becomes.

4. Physical condition

Each student declares their physical condition from their profile: Injured, In shape, Peak shape, Tired, Very tired, Sick or Holiday, with a free description (“sprained ankle”, “cold”). You read it on their member profile, and the professor sees it in the class.

You do not change it on their behalf, except for a managed account (a child, a member without the app) where the Edit physical condition button is available on the profile.
