Connect OSS Academy to Claude or ChatGPT, then ask your questions as you would ask a colleague: “who is ready for their next belt?”, “which time slots are half empty?”, “prepare tonight’s class for me”. The assistant reads your club’s data on your behalf, read-only: it cannot create, change or delete anything.
Only the club’s staff can connect: owner, co-owner or professor. A professor only reaches what their role opens in the app.
1. Add OSS Academy to Claude
- On claude.ai or in the Claude desktop app, open Customize, then Connectors.
- Click Discover and type OSS Academy in the search.
- Open the OSS Academy listing and click Connect to Claude: the OSS Academy authorization page opens (step 3).
To use it, click + in the message box, then Connectors, and turn on OSS Academy. Claude may ask you to approve each tool the first time: Always allow stops it from asking again.
On a Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of the Claude organization first adds OSS Academy for everyone. Other members see Request instead of the connect button.
OSS Academy does not show up in the search? Add it by its address: on the Connectors page, click +, then Add custom connector, name it OSS Academy and paste the address below.

- In ChatGPT, on the web, the desktop app or mobile, open Plugins.
- Type OSS Academy in the search and open its listing.
- Click + to install it, then Connect: the OSS Academy authorization page opens (step 3).
To use it, start a new conversation and type @OSS Academy followed by your question: “@OSS Academy which trial classes are planned this week?”. You can also ask directly, and ChatGPT picks its tools itself.
On a Business or Enterprise plan, the workspace admin may have to allow OSS Academy before you can install it.
OSS Academy isn’t in the plugins yet? Its listing is being reviewed by OpenAI. In the meantime, use Claude (step 1).
3. Allow access to your clubs
On the first connection, the assistant opens an OSS Academy page (in French for now).
- Enter the email and password of your OSS Academy account, then your two-factor code if you turned it on.
- Tick the clubs to share. Each club shows your role and what it lets the assistant read.
- Confirm: you are back in the assistant, connected.
A confirmation email arrives right away, with a button to cut access. A connection lasts 90 days at most, after which the assistant asks for your permission again. If you have not done it yet, turn on two-factor authentication: your account is what opens your club’s data.
4. See what the assistant looked up
In Management, Tracking & stats section, open AI assistants. Every time Claude or ChatGPT reads the club’s data on your behalf, a line is added: what was looked up, by which assistant, at what time. Neither your questions nor the answers are stored, and only you can see this page.
5. Cut a connection
- One assistant: click Couper l’accès (cut access) in the email you received when connecting. The assistant is cut off on its very next request.
- All assistants at once: reset your password. Turning on two-factor authentication also cuts the connections opened without it; just reconnect the assistant with your code.
You can also remove OSS Academy from the assistant itself: Disconnect on its page in Claude’s connectors, Uninstall plugin in ChatGPT.
If it does not work
- “Réservé à l’équipe d’un club” (reserved for a club’s staff): this account is not the owner, co-owner or professor of any club. Sign in with your management account.
- “Votre compte n’est pas encore validé” (your account is not validated yet): open the validation email you received when signing up, then try again.
- The assistant answers without looking at your club: in Claude, check that the connector is turned on in this conversation; in ChatGPT, mention @OSS Academy in your question.
- Nothing answers anymore after a few weeks: the connection expired or was cut. In Claude, click Reconnect on the connector’s page; in ChatGPT, open the plugin again and reconnect it.
