Your academy uses OSS Academy under a platform subscription. It starts with a one-month trial with no commitment, then you pick the plan that fits your club. Everything is handled in the OSS Subscription section of the management menu.
1. The free trial
The Discovery offer unlocks every feature for one month, with no credit card. Click Start my free trial: it is also what the last step of the setup wizard offers.
Use it to set everything up, classes, products and members: nothing is lost when you move to a paid plan.
2. The offers
A single plan, Essential, covers the whole management of your academy: classes, attendance, members, products, payments. It comes at two rhythms:
- Essential Monthly: €30 a month, no commitment, cancel at any time.
- Essential Yearly: €300 a year, two months free.
Subscribe on the chosen offer starts the subscription.
While a subscription is running, other offers cannot be taken out alongside it. The button becomes Schedule for followed by the end date of your current subscription: the new offer will take over on that date, at full price and without the free trial. The card is saved right away, nothing is charged before then. When that is not possible, for example if a takeover is already scheduled, the offer stays greyed out with “Available when your current subscription ends”.
3. Save and manage your cards
The platform subscription is paid by card. In Payment methods, click Add a card: the default card is used for the academy’s platform subscription.
Your bank details are secured by Stripe and never stored on OSS Academy servers.
If you have several cards, Set as default on another card makes it the card used for platform subscriptions. Delete removes a card after confirmation. The default card cannot be deleted: set another card as default first. A card used by an active subscription cannot be deleted either, the screen says so under the card.
4. Cancel or resume your subscription
On your current subscription, Cancel subscription stops the renewal after confirmation. The subscription stays active until the end of the period already paid: the card shows Cancellation scheduled and the date until which it remains active.
Changed your mind before that date? Resume subscription cancels the cancellation: it keeps renewing normally. Resubscribe in advance instead schedules a new subscription that takes over when the current one ends, with no immediate charge.
Once the subscription has ended, it can no longer be resumed: Resubscribe takes out a new one. A complimentary offer cannot be canceled, there is no payment to stop.
5. Not to be confused with your own collections
This card pays OSS Academy. It has nothing to do with the money your students pay you: to collect their memberships by card, you connect your own Stripe account from your products page. The “Connect Stripe to get paid by card” tutorial covers that other setup.
If the trial is over and access is limited
Pick a plan in OSS Subscription and add a card if you have not already. Your data is kept: as soon as you subscribe, everything comes back as you left it.
