Your competitors declare their own participations and results. You validate, you complete, and the app turns it into the club’s statistics: participations, medals, podium rate, competitors to follow. Nothing to retype in a spreadsheet.
1. What your students do
The app’s Competitions tab lists upcoming competitions, the ones the student is registered for, the ones they follow and past ones. On each, they set their status: I plan to go, Registered, or Not going, with their belt, age and weight category.
After the competition, Add my result asks for the category (weight or absolute), their placing, the medal, fights won and lost, and the stage where they were eliminated. A self-declared result stays Pending until you validate it.
2. Validate results
On a competition page, you and your professors can Validate, Edit or Delete a result, and add a result for a student who has not done it. Only validated results count in statistics and rankings.
The Missing results tab lists registered students without a result after the date: that is your Monday follow-up list.
3. Create a competition and enroll the team
A competition missing from the list is created with New competition: name, dates, venue, categories. You can then enroll the team in one go, selecting the students and their categories, rather than waiting for each to do it.
You and your professors also manage the academy’s participants on any competition, even one created by another club.
4. Read the statistics
- Overview: medals, participations, participation rate, wins, podium rate, and the funnel “plan to go, registered, competed”.
- Trends: participation and medals over time, overall or by belt.
- Analysis: breakdown by belt, win rate by belt, gi versus no-gi, win methods (points, submission, advantages, penalties).
- Ranking: your competitors sorted by score, medals, participations or win rate, over the period of your choice.
The ranking score follows a fixed scale (fight fought, win, medal), the same for every club.
If a result looks wrong
Open the competition, edit the result or delete it. The student can then submit a new one, which goes through your validation again.
