The academy feed replaces the overflowing WhatsApp group: an announcement is read by every member, stays on top if it matters, and a poll collects answers without chasing. It lives in the app’s Academy tab.
1. Who can post
The owner and the professors post. Students read and vote, but do not create posts. A post is visible to the whole academy: there is no targeting by class or group.
2. Write a post
The create button opens the form: an optional title, the content, a photo taken on the spot or picked from the gallery.
Two settings change visibility:
- Pin the post keeps it at the top of the feed, for holiday hours or the house rules.
- Mark as announcement adds an “Announcement” badge, so a last-minute change is not mistaken for plain news.
Link an event attaches the post to a camp or an open mat: readers reach it in one tap. You can also share an event to the feed from its page.
3. Run a poll
Add a poll to the post: 2 to 10 options, multiple choice if several answers are allowed, and an expiry date so the poll closes on its own. Everyone votes from the feed, can withdraw their vote, and you see the voters option by option.
It is the right tool to pick a camp date or count who is going to a competition.
4. Manage your posts
From a post’s menu: Edit, Delete, Pin or Unpin. A deleted post disappears for everyone, votes included.
